This reminds me of why i love baseball. The shit ive been watching has progressively got worst till matheny left. Post dispatch said several teams were interested in him in some role. Fuck a bunch of that.
There was a story on the Royals' version of VEB that Ned Yost wants him to join the Royals in some capacity. Which will be good for the Cardinals as long as they play the Royals every year.

How did Carpenter end up on third after all that nonsense?
Wild pitch that bounced maybe 20-30 feet toward the Nationals’ bullpen. Catcher tried to flip it to Hellickson, but Bader beat Hellickson to the plate, taking him out at the ankles in the process. As the throw rolled toward the Cardinals dugout, Carpenter went to third.
Your answer is much more helpful than AP's.
In my defense, i wasnt wrong.

Single, stolen base, RBI single. I'm liking the New Guy more every game.

Was anyone else supposed to learn that the new hitting coaches, Buddha and Greer, are as old as they are? For some reason I assumed these were young up and comers. I think they may have been teammates of George Kissel

Keep in mind, the Royals were the team that had a meeting in spring training to discuss the evils of pornography. Matheny should fit in perfectly.

They're both a bit lumpier than most people you see in a baseball uniform.

If they can get Rendon out, the Harper at bat could be interesting.

With 2 out and no one on, I’d have put one right in Harper’s ribs.

I wouldnt argue with it. Love to see it. Xray is good they say. Hope it doesnt swell like a tic on a dog. Hand injury seem to be a game changer.

I’d give him tomorrow off anyway. Save him for the Milwaukee series

Really....another inning. Idk about that. Id of pulled him. Went for a higher odds of getting a hit and with a fresh pitcher in the 9th. I cant say i fully disagree tho. I like the confidence.
