Wasn't Foltywhatever acting like a bitch about the heat when he pitched in St. Louis earlier in the season?

Molina seemed to not mind getting plunked there.

Nice ab by wong.
Like that pitch count climbing in the first inning or the first game of the series. Burn the pen up boys.

He did alright. He just needs to lock it in now.
The bats need to make sure this isnt a quick inning.

Or just go down easy

For whatever reason, the Cardinals' starting pitchers seem to labor through the first inning. Usually, it's a sign the pitcher hasn't warmed up long enough. I'll allow Mikolas sitting for the first 15 minutes while his team batted around may have been a factor tonight.

Whats the reasoning for the second inning struggles?

Markakis didn't even give that one a courtesy jog.

It's almost 9 p.m. and it's 77 degrees here with about 110 percent humidity. We're supposed to get drenched with what's left of Florence tomorrow.

Our MVP Candidate is batting .192 with no homers and four RBI in September. But it's not an important month.

Didn't Mendoza speak favorably of his launch angle?

I think at one point she said he's "carrying the team."
Like that clip of the ski jumper ABC used to show to symbolize "the agony of defeat" before Wild World of Sports.

The Cardinals took BP for an inning off Foltywhatever for a half-inning but only managed to score two runs.
Does anyone else think Osuna's strategy for running the bases is "Keep going until you're tagged out?"

No help from the Redlegs tonight. Yelich has already hit for the cycle and it's only the sixth inning.
