I know a lot of people fawn over the Cardinals young pitchers, but until these guys learn to get out of an inning without throwing 20+ pitches, they don't have a chance at this level.

And yes, I realize that these runs and the extra pitches are on Carpenter, but you don't have to be 3-2 on every hitter.  Challenge someone.

Yeah, the catcher with the best catching ERA in the last 15 years is the problem.
