Keith Hernandez is such a bitter, petty man.

WTF DeJong?

A washed up pitcher who came into the game with an ERA over 12 is carving up the Cardinals like a Thanksgiving turkey.

How do you not fucking score on that??

They keep trying Yelich, yet they're pitching to Conforto like he's Barry Bonds.

Not for nothing, but if our MVP Candidate scores on the ground ball, the game is tied right now.

The inability to get a runner home from 3rd with less than 2 out is beyond frustrating

Either that or a pitcher with a 95 mph fastball who tries to pick corners.

Yeah, but every once in a while, a pitcher will get lucky and run into one. And there are some pitchers who can hit - Waino, Greinke, that reliever in Cincinnati who pinch-hits for them.
But your point is valid. I remember someone - maybe Suppan - walking Pedro Martinez in Game 3 of the 2004 World Series and wanting to throw a shoe through my TV. Pedro Martinez couldn't hit water if he fell out of a fucking boat.

Maybe worst then allowing a hit is walking a pitcher. Or even running the count full.
