Flats vs. Stan Laurel

Hate to say any game is "must win," but with Wacha and Wainwright pitching the next 2, it would be really nice to get this one.

Walk, walk, HR.
Young pitchers with great stuff who don't trust their stuff are so frustrating.

Does every Cubs' player have to unnecessarily leave their feet every time they make a routine play?

The "Hit the Road, Jack" exit song for an opposing pitcher was probably clever in 1955 or so.

They couldn't do anything with Hendricks. His pitch count was in the 80s. He could have probably gone another three or four innings at the rate he was going.
I didn't see the inning Flats gave up the home run to Rizzo because I was walking the dog, but McLaughlin complained later on that Flats got squeezed on a couple of close pitches.

Do they use that for pitchers not named Jack?

I saw his pitch count was 81. Did the cards not take a pitch all day?

It was almost like he couldn't miss the strike zone. It seemed like he was up 0-2 on every batter.

I'm not sure there was even a 3-ball count,
