In his opening, Brennadouche decsribed this event as "A COLLISION BETWEEN THE CINCINNATI REDS AND THE ST. LOUIS CARDINALS!!!"

I haven’t seen many of his at-bats, but the more I see of Edman, the more I hope Carpenter is out for the season.

It has been a nice change of pace. The carp aspect aside im not sold on edman as a long term mlb player. Im sure mo has an extension all inked up tho.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you, but he could be a nice piece as the next Descalso, Garcia type player with more offense.
It was just nice to see a LH lead off hitter go the other way with an outside breaking pitch. Carpenter would have tried to pull the ball through the shift.
