Well TK, it looks like Julio Jones put himself out of the Rams' reach. Unless they trade up. He apparently tore it up today at the Combinr.

The vikings need to dreaft a QB and half the offensive and defensive line. That could be a tough task.

Wow. Did anyone else see the kid from Oregon State do 49 reps with the 225? Jesus, I think I strained a nut just watching him.

I saw it on the yahoo story on it. He made it look pretty easy. I am guessing at 12 someone would have been picking the bar off my chest.

Yeah, that's going to get complicate matters quite a bit. Now I'm worried they're going to draft Ayers (who should be a 3-4 linebacker) or the guy from Purdue who is Chris Long without the talent or pedigree.

If Jones isn't there, and they aren't able to make a move to get him, then I wouldn't mind seeing them try to move down and maybe take the DT from Illinois (Liuget) or maybe even the other Pouncey and move him to Guard. But with the investment they've made in Bradford, they really need to get him someone to throw the ball to, and if they could make a reasonable move up the board to go get Jones, I would do that.

Jones just had surgery on his foot didn't he? I can't imagine that helping his status too much. He may still be there for the Rams.

Yeah, an MRI conducted at the Combine revealed a stress fracture. Probably not great that he required surgery, but on the other hand, he performed remarkably with a stress fracture so it probably wan't that big of a deal.
I hope you're right, though. I'd love to see Jones in a Rams uni.
