I can appreciate the Wrigleyian mentality, but recall that Westbrook and Garcia had a fairly shitty spring, while Lohse and McClellan were strong. Carp turned in a good performance on opening day. So, for the few days we can maintain the hope that all we need do is adjust our vision of how success will happen. Carp, Lohse, and McClellan will lead the rotation. La Russa will play around with the bullpen until he finds something that works. The offense will get going. Go Cards!
