I assume you're on the Blackberry. Where are your seats?

Cards are up early. Reds are getting pulverized. Shaping up to be a good night.

If I were Anibal Sanchez's manager, I'd be in therapy.

Descalso saves a run in what was otherwise maybe the worst defensive inning I've ever seen a Cardinals team play.
Two runs without the ball leaving the infield? Come on.

3rd level behind the right field foul pole.
What happened on Sanchez' bunt? Therior break to 3rd?

Keeping waving and I'll try to see if I can see you.
I'm not sure what happened on the bunt. It looked like Theriot kind of didn't know which base to cover. And then Albert started to run off the field after the second out with a runner on third.

Man, I hate to admit Max is right about anything, but everyone is running on Rasmus' arm these days.

Horton's right. The Marlins are pretty good. Their start isn't a fluke.

Anyone else starting to get really frustrated with Pujols? That was a cookie.

There was a time that walking the hitter in front of Pujols was a fatal mistake. As bad as he looks right now, it isn't a bad strategy.

Wow. Maybe it's my teeth chattering (it's about 40 degrees and I didn't dress for the weather), but I could've swore I heard a snmattering of boos after Pujols hit into that double play.

You did. Pretty disgraceful.
How many times does Sanchez have to burn them in this series before they figure out he's swinging a hot bat?
Offline
Liking Scal right now. Good move, bringing in the righty to face him.

Big hit by Denorfia. He's got some TLR Bucks coming his way.

"Denorfia"
Well done.
Motte in the 9th, please.

It's up to Mike Stanton, he of the 600-foot home run.

Just got home. We went with another family and the girls (moms and daughters) were cold. I won't lie, I was cold too, but I'd have made it through the game. I suppose the kids need to get to bed, too.
C'mon Sanchez, get another out.

That slider is pure filth.

And he gets him swinging.

Did a Cardinal pitcher just end the game with a strikeout?
Has that happened since Wainwright struck out Inge?

Looked like there were less than 10,000 people who stayed. Long game on a cold night. Check out the highlights from Liriano's no-hitter at Comiskey. The first base umpire looks like he's dressed for toboggan run.
