Ludwick needs to cool off for the next few days. He can pick it up again over the weekend.
Oh god, Cal Eldred just asked if Schumaker's return is bigger on the field or in the clubhouse. The correct answer here is "putting Tyler Greene on the bench."

Ludwig has raised his BA 60 points with 4 homers and 14 RBI during this 10-game hitting streak, but his production has slowed since the Pads got back to San Diego.

Milwaukee is three innings away from entering a second place tie with the TTIB.

That's gotta be Jim Joyce behind the plate.

Moseley's been shit in two of his last three starts. Jump on him early.

Wow. The book on pitching Albert inside has made the rounds quickly.

That was an Albomb that goes out in just about any other park. More of that and he'll be just fine.

What's up with Raz's pants? Is he channeling the Rogers Hornsby look?

... and the inning ends with Rasmus looking at a belt high fastball right down the cock and the hottest hitter in the majors in the on-deck circle.

I really missed Schumaker grounding out to second base.

What a friggin' catch. Defensive play of the year so far?

Lohse has not looked good so far.

Yeah that was nice by Rasmus. He could have made it harder by slamming into something.
Skip made a nice play to.

Not from what I've seen, but I'm trying to watch a baseball game and a hockey game at the same time.

Is Jaromir Jagr still playing? He's the last hockey player I remember. Him and Lemieux were unstoppable on NHL 93.

I've never heard an announcer speak with more resignation in his voice than Dick Enberg did before that at bat:
"... and here comes Johnson ... with runners in scoring position ... again ..."

Albert has to try a different part of the ballpark. You can't hit a golf ball out of the park out there with a 3-wood. Makes you appreciate how much Ludwig's hit was crushed. In Chicago, that thing's rolling around the tarmac at O'Hare.
