    Why is Molina batting 5th?  Why is Greene starting?  Why is Cruz playing third?  The only thing this lineup is missing is the pitcher batting 8th..

    A few too many hard hit balls (I think that was the third deep to the outfield), but so far he's off to a good start.

    you might be too young to remember the 20-20-20-20-20-20 thing that Ryne Sandberg chased back in about 1984.  The idea was to get 20's in all offensive categories 2B, 3B, HR, R, SB, RBI.  I think he got 17 triples, but otherwise eclipsed 20 for everything else.  If I am not mistaken, it has never been done.

    I'll admit that Rasmus is starting to annoy me. I can live with the streakiness and not being reckless, but for the love of Pujols, you have to catch a ball like that. How can someone cover so much ground and come up with so few balls?

    Somehow the motherfucking Giants have come back again. The Cardinals had a series absolutely gift-wrapped and they figured out a way to blow it.

    Why even let Cruz swing the bat?

    Steal second, then sacrifice to third.  It's the bottom of the order and it's still just the 6th inning.  It's OK to try getting the runs back one at a time.
