When Kobe gets all of it, it goes very, very far.

Jon Jay didnt hit that one out but it is interesting that he has as many home runs as Rasmus.

BB, sac, PB, sac fly
Scoring a run without a hit is one of those good karma things, like finding a $10 bill you forgot about in your pants pocket.

I'll be stunned if it's still 2-2 in the bottom of the fifth.

You're cheap Artie! I look to find $20's!

Berkman should have had that pop foul

Such a disappointing outing. Westbrook has to get more than 13 outs.

So, does that mean if you find any $10s, you'll send them to me?

He made a couple of starts eariler in the month when McClellan went on the DL, got sent back down and came back up after the bullpen went all Three Mile Island on Tuesday.

Seems to know what the hell he's doing! (grin)

Once is an accident. Twice is kind of embarrassing.

Unbelievable ...

The bullpen has 14 losses and 14 blown saves on June 24. Incredible.

I havent miss much in the last two weeks. This team is in real trouble.

I know they lost, but I'm pretty sure Holliday's last three home runs have either tied the game or put the Cardinals ahead. It's a shame they were so stupid with his injury because this is an MVP season.

Is there some reason it should?

Max, do you think Jay should've got Towles at second on that one?
This is the kind of thing you do that sounds like taunting, without addressing the original issue, and all in defense of some favorite player or another.
Change defense to opposition and favorite to least favorite and then please remind us the purpose behind any of your "Rasmus for Rookie of the Year" posts.
You're as guilty of this as anyone Max, so please lay off the feigned indignation.

Are you taking my jokes about Rasmus personally?!? They are certainly not aimed at you, or anybody other than having a little fun at the expense of Rasmus and his dad, just as my jokes about JD Drew are not aimed at anyone here. Just Drew himself.
If I say 'pitcher wins are a a stupid stat', Artie knows that's aimed at him, based on an old discussion that we agreed to disagree about years ago. And if Fors compares Jay to Hart, I know that's aimed at me. But you are WAY off the mark if you think my comments about Rasmus are aimed at you. Those would be along the lines of: Pineiro will not maintain his effectiveness, the Cards will not be 10 games ahead of the pack by the end of August, etc. And those could be settled anytime with three simple words: "I was wrong".
