    Hammerin' Hamilton as the DH, eh?
    I'd like to hear Kevin Youkilis' explanation of how interleague play gives NL teams an advantage after he looks at that lineup.

    I have never seen a DH lineup that look that weak.

    It's only fair that since the AL pitchers tends to handle the bat so poorly, an NL team use one of its worst hitters as DH.

    Is it too late to insert Wong into the 8 hole?  [sorry, couldn't resist] (lol) (lol) (lol)

    Just in case someone missed it Willy Mo Pena is back in the majors playing for the Dbacks.  In 24AB he has 11Ks and 2hr/3RBIs.

    It's a little early for that, Fors. The last thing you want to be is premature with Wong.

    Yeah, my dad emailed me about that last weekend. My dad likes Wily Mo, in kind of he same way a little kid likes a circus clown. He loved it when I dropped my "Wily Mo is the only player capable of winning the game for either team" line on him a few years ago.

    Normalized for at bats, Wily Mo has more home runs than Pujols.

    I don't understand this. It's been half a season and Franklin can't get anyone out.

    Sorry Ricky, but I don't feel sorry for Franklin. He's making over $3M to completely suck. How many other teams have to get their closer up with a 6-1 lead in the 8th?

    Scratch that, how many teams have to bring in their closer up 6-2 with 1 out in the 8th?
