Drew Stubbs is doing a marvelous job providing a cool breeze through Busch tonight.

What is Garcia doing?

I didn't see the first one (or Berkman's), but that ball was fucking crushed.

Mike Cameron to the Marlins. Thank goodness the waiver wire goes from the bottom up.

Careful. DeWitt is liable to add a surcharge for that to every ticket when the Reds are in town.

Struggling with his command.
Sutcliffe uttered "He's completely lost his curveball" a millisecond before Jaime dropped that 0-1 hammer on Phillips.

Berkman's is still the best of the three. I think it hit the Arch.

Is that what they mean by dynamic pricing?

Good things happening in Milwaukee.

Horton just lost credibility points calling Jay Bruce a "deserving All-Star." I know we haven't played Pittsbergh in a while, but McCutcheon is more deserving.

Sutcliffe complaing about Volquez's deliberate pace is a joke. Sutcliffe was a human rain delay.

If the wind isn't blowing in, Hamilton's ball is gone.

Which Ortiz is pitching for the Cubs? Ramon? Russ? David?

The Cardinals' bullpen is just gawdawful.

Was he thinking 2 out of the box.

The Reds' $30 million pitcher is throwing the seventh inning with his team trailing by seven runs.
Nice investment.

Crap. I've already committed to driving my wife's family up to Mt. Baker to see snow.
What's the big deal? It's not like they've traveled halfway across the globe to see something they can't see at home ...
... wait, I'll come in again.
Reporting from the Slide Mountain Grill, which happens to have the game on and WiFi.
Saw the double by Theriot to make it 8-1.
Who was that CF who demonstrated his arm strength by throwing over Schumaker's head at 2B on Janish's double?

Hey, those sneezes can be a bitch
!/dgooldAllergies are getting the best of me. I sneeze 50 times a day. I didnt know I was living so dangerously.
I'm sure we've all experienced it where we sneeze, and then a day later we notice we are seriously injured and need a fifteen day leave from work to recover.

Lynn's been dealing ever since I called him out. I can just flat-out motivate.

Took the in-laws to a titty bar, eh?
That could come back to haunt you later on this evening.

La Russa is just over-thinking this. He went through a battery of tests today on the field. The doctors have cleared him to play. Just put him on the damn field.
Again, if Pujols had played, Berkman would have played right field, and he never would have gotten to that fly ball into the corner by Gomes that Jay snared. 8-1 is a big lead to blow, but if Gomes had started that inning with a double, they might have scored a few runs right there. Not that I would keep Pujols or Berkman out of the line-up, but Jay's presence as a vacuum in RF creates some interesting conflicts for La Russa.

And I'm sure if your on-the-job performance was the equivalent of an ERA north of 8.00, your boss would happily give you the time off.

"that fly ball into the corner by Gomes"
Anyone else think Gomes thought he got that one, or is my hatred of all things TTTIB showing again?

That's been Sutcliffe's mantra for the past three hours.
