    NL Rookie of the Year Jaime Garcia vs. Chris Capuano.

    Garcia dominates the Brewers and I think he's the only pitcher who has won since The Sweep, so that means he's due for a beatdown tonight.

    In any case, the Braves PR department is countering the moves for Garcia to be Rookie of the Year, with a piece--again, on Yahoo--comparing Heyward "favorably" to hank Aaron's rookie season.  I'm sticking with my prediction of Garcia in a walk.

    Here is a level three hint.  This Cardinals was a one year Cardinal who played his last MLB as a Cardinal.  If you blinked you missed him.  These are all position player to, BTW.

    I didn't expect to, but we could have started at say, Garry Templeton, and worked our way up.

    Crap. Not having Molina in the lineup just cost the Cardinals a run. Maybe that fan was right and Yadi really is [homophobic reference].

    Garcia is not doing a good job of staking his claim to the Rookie of the Year trophy.  That sucker stays in the books long after everything else is gone, Jaime.  Humans being human, one crappy start in September can be a lot more influential than 8 quality starts to start the season, or whatever it was.     Talent-wise we should be in the Junior Spivey or Juan Encarnacion zone, but 1 year as an MLB Cardinal doesn't fit them.  Juan Gonzalez would also work based on what little he showed but he never saw a regular season game... but AP didn't specify regular season, did he?  In that case, I'm going with Junior!
