Bean Fielder in the first inning, anyone?

This could be a very ugly series, but I don't see how the Cards can allow Milwaukee to continue pitching their game.  This from Goold:

With All-Star Ryan Braun and No. 5 hitter Casey McGehee joining Fielder in the middle of the Brewers' order, that trio has hit .295 with a .537 slugging percentage against the Cardinals.
The Cardinals' Nos. 3, 4 and 5 hitters — Pujols, Matt Holliday and Berkman — have combined to hit .188 with a .341 slugging percentage against the Brewers.

FWIW: they seem to have a large advantage in the projected pitching match-ups.

Projected pitching matchups (all games at 7:15 p.m.):

Tonight • RH Edwin Jackson (8-8, 4.11 ERA) vs. RH Shaun Marcum (10-3, 3.58 ERA)
Wednesday • RH Jake Westbrook (9-5, 4.83) vs. LH Randy Wolf (8-8, 3.61)
Thursday • RH Chris Carpenter (7-8, 3.75 ERA) vs. RH Yovani Gallardo (13-7, 3.56 ERA)
