In all fairness, I'm worried about the Cardinals' chances still. The difference of course being we didn't go into this expecting to win it all.
To paraphrase H. Lee Ermey, if this was a 7-game series, we could all hold hands and have a nice cry. The Phillies are still the clear favorites, but after watching the Cardinals play for the last month or so, nothing they accomplish will surprise me. Or disappoint me.

Two things going in our favor, and this goes back ten years or more. Inexplicable, but undeniable:
1. We play better against good teams, and fold up against teams like the Pirates and the recent-Astros.
2. We fold up against salad tossing lefties, but tend to do better-than-expected to very-well against top lefties, going all the way back to Randy Johnson's days as a Diamondback.

Not to get cocky but if I were the Phillies I would be think if the Cardinals can beat Lee with a good start from Carp then anything can happen. More proof that the Playoff are a crapshot.
