    I never thought I'd be writing this, but

    crap, I think we lost Schumaker.

    He earned a starting role in CF with his fabulous catch and throw, as well as with his bat.  Maybe Corey Patterson will get some prime time.

    and in another thought, Schu might have played his last game as a Cardinal.  Maybe his last game as a major leaguer.

    Other tidbits from the article:  look for McClellan and Lynn to be added, Westbrook and Schu to be dropped.  Some thought about adding Greene (I guess that Patterson is not even being considered).  It seems like they will be dangerously weak at CF if they replace Schu with a pitcher.

    I say we bring 26 guys and see if anybody notices.
