I hope he can't hit cutters, sinkers, and curveballs, cuz that's all he's gonna see until he gets to the later innings. Not sure if Motte will come out of this with his reputation intact, but the starters have a chance:

. . . and FWIW, I liked beaning Fielder in game 1 inning 1. Let's not waste time establishing who has control of the inside of the plate. Our pitchers make their living down and away.
