Just heard on the radio the first pitch ceremony will be handled by Gibby, Sutter and Waino.
Let's hope Motte makes it a foursome next season.

Weather is going to be an issue. It has turned cold in St. Louis and they're calling for spot showers the rest of the evening.
Right now it's raining and it's 50 degrees. Temperatures are expected to drop into the high 30s tonight.

We have every bit as much of an "AL" lineup as they do. Especially when we play there and add Craig's .315/.917, maybe at #2 if Tony is aggressive.
BA/OPS
.255/.735 Furcal SS
.297/.768 Jay CF
.299/.906 Pujols 1b
.296/.912 Holliday LF
.301/.959 Berkman RF
.297/.791 Freese 3B
.305/.814 Molina C
.278/.809 Punto 2B
Carpenter P

Who makes the call on whether a post-season game gets started? The home team, MLB, or Fox?

I've been thinking the same thing for the past couple of days. Most of the media has been focused on how Michael Young is an advantage for Texas, but the Cardinals counter with Craig when the DH is in play. That's a little bit of an upgrade from So Taguchi batting ninth.

Almost positive it's MLB. At 6:15 p.m. CST, it's cold but dry and the tarp is off the field. A motorcade presumably with the "White House wives" just passed my office. Time for me to head home.

At least there are two intersections in St. Louis without someone holding a "Will work for food" sign.

I'm with McCarver...why was Freese playing so shallow?

Wow, was that Tony Gwynn in the "Stand Up for Cancer" commercial? He has to weigh 350 pounds.

Thank you, Ron Washington!

Wow! What a play! I held my breath thinking Carpenter was going to get mowed over.

Those are two tough outs.
Nice to see one easy one.

Dear Texas Rangers,
Yadier Molina is the slowest human on the planet and sometimes lazy blocking balls in the dirt. But he has a cannon for an arm. Run at your own risk.
Sincerely,
Cardinal Nation

Carpenter already looks sharper than he did last week.

That was an eventfull first inning. Molina might have shut down the running game for the whole series with that one throw and Carp could have got knocked out for the series with that dive.

Shouldn't Furcal be running?

Why cant FOX figure out how to get the score box to appear totaly on the screen.

I hear their catcher's arm sucks.

Let's hope this walk is the start of a big inning.
I'll go out on the line and predict a blow out Cardinal victory tonight. Cards score more than 10. Texas is never in it.

Well, it's good to see they haven't lost their ability to hit into DP's.

Fox needs to knock it off with these stupid camera angles.

Why did Adam Standler's son have a dildo taped to his head?

Rough start defensively for Freese.
