Re: World Series, Game 2

This is the first time I've seen the Cardinals bat. Why are they swinging at Colby Lewis like he's Roger Clemens?

Re: World Series, Game 2

Re: World Series, Game 2

Alexi Ogando is the scariest-looking pitcher I've ever seen. Just terrifying.

Re: World Series, Game 2

Just walked in from football practice and we have Craig v. Ogando II.

Looks like both starters pitched their hearts out. Good for Garcia, now let's get him a win.

Re: World Series, Game 2

OK, now we have to see if going to Salas is the right move. I'm pretty sure it's not.

Re: World Series, Game 2

If Craig v. Ogando III happens, I'm guessing Craig sees all sliders.

Re: World Series, Game 2

One thing I like about this bullpen, is that they are fearless.

Does anybody remember our pitching in '04?

the bullpen is going to get emptied.  At this point I am on board with whatever TLR does.

Re: World Series, Game 2

Wow, Napoli swung thru an 81 MPH meatball. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

not really.  tomorrow is a day off.  and these guys haven't even seen Lynn . . . ever.

La Russa can go to Texas and through a completely different BP at them.

That was the easiest eighth inning I can remember. Hopefully Motte repeats that in the ninth.
