Re: World Series Pivotal Game 6

That DP was the result of very aggressive defense.  Hooray!  But let's hope it doesn't come back to haunt us.

Possibly trying to throw it away, but I suspect some weird bad luck, not design.

Re: World Series Pivotal Game 6

I don't like the way this game is going.  We just seem to be a bit off.  Pujols misses by a few feet.  Holliday bungles one.  Salas throws one away.

They're pissing me off with that "infrared" stuff.  It's a thermal camera that lights up hot spots.  Infrared is that greenish stuff you get from night vision equipment.

That slide by Holliday was a bit over the top.  At what point is that against the rules?

What was wrong with the slide?  That's exactly what he was supposed to do.

he wasn't headed to the base, he raised his arm and then his hand and caught Andrus's leg in the process.

my question is at what point does a slide violate the rules?

This would be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic.

Any more plays like that and it will be time to cut the eye holes in the paper bag.

He doesn't have to go directly at the bag so long as he can reach it which he clearly could. Holliday can bring his hands up to prtoect himself knowing that Andrus is likely to come down on top of him.

I can't specifically tell you when it crosses the line, but that wasn't close. It was clean.

This seems like a really stupid move by Washington to let Lewis bat.

Worked for us.  But are they now bringing in Holland out of the Bull Pen?  Yikes
