This weekend I witnessed the Cardinals win the World Series and the Rams beat New Orleans.
I'm not sure which was more improbable.

The Cardinals beating the Saints would have been even more improbable.

The Cardinals (the baseball team, not the ones from Arizona) were at the Dome today. Carpenter was the honorary coin toss captain. I remember thinking at the time that Carpenter might look good in a uniform and could maybe show the Rams a thing or two about heart.
As bad as the Saints played, the Cardinals probably could have given them a run for their money. Even Howie Long's kid had 3 sacks today.
