baseball tonight: the hottest team in baseball

. . . milwaukee.

let's see, there are 4 teams that are 8-2 in their last 10 games, but sure, why not, call milwaukee the hottest team in baseball.

now, during the sequence on carpenter and the cards, did anyone hear boone's comment?  was there a homo-erotic undertone when he said, "his STUFF is GOOD"?

Since they left St. Louis, I think the Brewers are also something like 13-3. On one hand, you could say they're taking advantage of a weak schedule, but on the other hand you could say they're beating the teams they're supposed to beat.

Yeah, I've got no problems with that label. Their lineup is starting to hit and the rotation has rounded into form. Ever since Gallardo dominated the Cardinals a few weeks back, he's been on a roll. They are a scary team.

Pretty amazing the only two games they've lost in the past two weeks are to the team with the worst record in the majors.

As long as the Cardinals keep taking 2 0f 3 I am not going to worry.  Winning the series today after taking a butt kicking yesterday would be nice.

The Mariners could be buyers in the coming weeks, and from what I hear they have the resources to have an impact bat.  As things stand, their starting rotation is very good.  All good for the Mariners, but it will make getting tickets all that much harder when I get might first home leave at the end of June.
