CWS Regionals scheduled

Oregon State hosting a regional, nice!

We'll be interesting to see how they do.

They almost played their way out of it by getting swept in Eugene this past weekend. All things considered, they got a pretty good draw in their regional. Arkansas-Little Rock is a tuneup. Throw your Sunday starter in that one and save Gaviglio for Game 2. Georgia is lower tier SEC team this year and Creighton's record makes them look better than they are.
The tough part will be getting past either Oklahoma State or Vandy in the super regional. I have a feeling the Cowboys are going to sink the Commodores.

OSU and UCLA trailing in the sixth.
ASU trailing and getting no-hit through five. I don't know the last time the Sun Devils were no-hit. I don't think it's happened in at least 20 years.

Whew ..... ASU gets three in the ninth and survives.

UCLA and Ga. Tech went down as #1 seeds.
Not a good day to be a #2 seed - East Carolina, Fresno, Central Florida, UofA, UConn, Florida International, Oklahoma St., Texas St., Arkansas, and Southern Miss. went down.

Re: CWS Regionals scheduled

So I'm watching the webcast of the Tempe regional. I think the production is a TA using an iPhone. The audio is about five seconds behind the video, and you can't see anything in the outfield down either foul line.
Last night, ASU is down, 2-1, in the bottom of tthe ninth with runners on second and third with one out. The batter pulls the ball down the RF line, and it disappears. About five seconds later, you hear the kid say "...and it's a walkoff home run ... Devils win ..." like the batter just took out a library book.
In the game I'm watching right now, ASU is ahead, 2-0, and the webcast scoreboard hasn't acknowledged the second run yet.
