I threw up in my mouth when I read this earlier.

Werth leading off?
Offline
Pitcher batting eighth?

Dear Mr. Maya,
Welcome to the major leagues.
Regards,
Albert Pujols

I missed the second inning. What happened to Ankiel?

My cable just came back on. I've missed everything to this point.
Offline
I just saw Berkman destroy a ball.
Offline
A second baseman gets to that ball.

It's hard to believe after listening to F.P. Santangelo for 4 1/2 innings he ever played in the major leagues.
Offline
Ankiel left the game with a strained ovary ... errr, oblique.

Defensive replacements in the 5th inning are pure Genius. I predict it will be the new trend in baseball.

Theriot has the weakest arm ever.

Wow, this is a clusterfuck.

As Al always says, nobody feels worse than Theriot.

Full marks to Garcia for bailing out his middle infield.

Is it Al and Ricky, or did Dan make it out of Tallahassee? That 23-9 fiasco between Florida State and Texas A&M on Saturday took half a lifetime.

Al and Ricky tonight.
Now Al's talking up Batista.

Excellent sequence by Batista to Werth. Four straight pitches a foot wide of the plate.

Now it's a ballgame again. Batista is such a fucking jerk.

Way to put out the fire, Miggy.

In Batista's defense, it's not his fault he's pitching in the seventh inning. He ought to be the long relief guy, but because they're so insistent upon salvaging an unsalvagable Franklin, they're short in the bullpen and he has to pitch later in the game than he ought to.
Great. Now Miller has to pitch to a righty. This bullpen is a mess.

I'm going to throw up.

It's pretty hilarious that they don't trust Boggs or Franklin with a four-run lead.

I'm really glad this is one of the games blacked out with the U-verse dispute.
We've bagged plenty on Franklin this year, but WTF Miller? How many fucking first batter walks has he issued this year? Batista obviously shit the bed long before Miller got into the game, but they still had a lead. It's reached a level of absurdity.
