Having said that, I'm not sure I believe Tallet was told to throw at Gordon with the Cardinals up 1 in the 7th and the heart of KC's order coming up.  Maybe Tallet did it on his own thinking it was the right move, but I doubt it was ordered under the circumstances.

I would have agreed with you, except the first time Tallet tried to throw at Gordon he missed him by two feet. If the bench was that adamant about not throwing at Gordon, something would have been said.
Yost is a dick, and some of the Royals are taking their cue from the manager. Getz is a redass. Escobar taking a half-hour to circle the bases in the ninth was annoying. But I suppose I would have enjoyed the scenery if it's the first time I'd homered in 300-something at bats.
But I suppose it's kind of good to see the Royals aren't going to be the 90-pound weakling who gets sand kicked in his face anymore.
