As much as I dislike the Yankees, I kind of wish right now they had signed Cliff Lee and he pitched in Cincinnati today.

Those of us who own Johnny Cueto in fantasy leagues would disagree. (happy)

4-0 Lee complete game shutout. Well, that didn't work out too well. This is a nice chance to see how badly we get creamed by the favorites to go back to the World Series. Tomorrow its Oswalt versus Carp for the sweep.

Lee's ERA in June is 0.27. That's absurd.

I stopped reading this at "Cliff Lee"
We could play him 10 times, and I bet we'd be lucky to win 2.

Then he'd have to go 1-7 in the rest of those starts, because the Cardinals beat him last month.
But you're probably right. He could have pitched a shutout last night if the game had lasted 15 innings.

Sorry Max. When there's money involved I put aside my disdain for the player. Cueto went undrafted because of his injury. It's an auction league and I got him for the minimum bid of $1. It's also a keeper league, so I can keep him next season for $2 if I choose.

Could be worse. 2 seasons ago I had Phillips. Although I think that was before he decided to hate haters.

That's what got Pete Rose in trouble with MLB.
