    Bill Conlin is receiving the highest honor a baseball reporter can get and he still looks and sounds like he just got a parking ticket.

    Now that Stan is in his dotage, shouldn't the Cardinals get Lou to represent their legacy every chance he gets? Is there a more dignified player who has ever been associated with the franchise?
