I missed everything after the fourth inning. Had to drown my sorrows after my team got eliminated from the basketball playoffs.

I had a couple of beers and a half a bottle of wine.  I have this trouble every week.  Drinking after two days of no sleep makes for a short night.  I am normally passed out by 8:30.

Can't watch tonight. At the Kenny Chesney concert--outdoors. It's hotter than balls. On the plus side, since it hotter than balls, most of the women are wearing shorts/skirts/dresses that stop a couple of inches past their ass.  And there are awesome racks everywhere you look. If the energy it requires to check out all the women while not getting caught by the wife burned calories, I'd drop 50 pounds tonight.

How was Kenny?  I have seen alot of the country guys but not many of the main singers who put on large scale concerts.

Kenny was awesome (despite what the snobs from the East Coast who believe all quality music stopped after 1970 might think).  We live about 5 minutes from Verizon Ampitheater, so we've seen quite a few shows there in the last couple of years.  Brad Paisley has been by far the best we've seen, but part of that is because he brings something like a half dozen other acts with him and starts the show at around 4-5 o'clock.  It becomes kind of an all day event.  And Blake Shelton opened for him, so that made for a really entertaining evening.  Tim McGraw was the worst.  What a snooze-fest.  Lady Antebellum opened for him, and I would have rather listened to them perform for another hour.  The least Tim could have done was bring Faith out on stage so us guys had something to stare at.

Rasmus' new team sure knows how to take it to the Orioles. 6-2 bottom of the third.

Would have been a flood of runs had Rasmus done anything to pitch in.

Complete falsehood. 1988.

Yeah, he was the only starter not to reach base. I wish the Blue Jays had thrown in Eric Thames because that guy is a hitter and would save us from the agony of watching Skip Schumaker and C-Patt take turns in right field.

The "Cub thing" ought to trouble us all, no matter what context.

If anyone wants to dig deeper into the hypocrisy thing, what I remember about Corey Patterson is his public statement, "I'm not changing my swing for anybody."  Ought to be interesting what the Cards coaches do when he hits a slump.

I wouldnt want to see McGraw either.  I like his earlier stuff but anymore his stuff is pretty boring.  I have seen Blake Shelton.  He was awesome.  It was at Nashville IN.  I dont know if they have shows there anymore or not.  Most of the ones we used to go to before kids were smaller concerts.  I like that because you are able to get really close to the show even if you are toward the back.  The key thing is that the stage is high enough.
