Does LaRussa even have a steal sign anymore?

OK, Furcal's arm at short is a slight upgrade ...

I have only a passing interest, but I would expect nothing less than an A-game from Carpenter.

Seeing Furcal as a Cardinal is weird.

"I have only a passing interest"
You're too smart to start watching American League baseball. Especially a team in Canada.

I have La Russa-Mozeliak-DeWitt Fatigue.

This game got ugly quickly.

Someone needs to tell the Brewers that hitters don't swing at breaking balls--even bad ones. I think their last as hits are off of hanging curveballs.

Jesus, Carpenter looks like someone dumped a bucket of water on his head. I'm 280 pounds, and I sweat like a bear, but I've never sweat so much that I had sweat dripping like that off of the bill of my cap.

Felipe Lopez??? Seriously???

He's living up in the zone. Or dying, in this instance.

I have. It's incredibly distracting. And you start losing your grip because there's nowhere to wipe your hand dry. I used to use the inside of my sock, but after awhile even that gets soaked.

Weeks' injury really set them back. Counsell is having a horrible year at the plate. He doesn't have a hit since June 10.

If Skippy hits into a double play, I'm going to scream.

He was safe.

I think you should finally admitt to having alittle man crush on Rasmus.

In Skippy's defense, he shouldn't be hitting in the seventh spot. Molina is batting something like .500 over his last 10 games. I'm not sure the manager even realized he doesn't have to impress George Will with his lefty-righty-lefty thing tonight because the Brewers don't have a lefty in their bullpen.
Oh look ... a single by Molina ...

I have. I freaking hate summer. I was back filling a trench in my yard the other day and couldnt have got any wetter if I jumped in a lake. My shoes started making a squishing noise when I walked. If I were Carp I would head to the clubhouse, take a shower and change cloths inbetween every inning. At least then me might feel alittle refreshed and 10lb lighter

Had they traded him and Shelby Miller for Ubaldo, I'd be doing the chicken dance naked.

If the wind isn't blowing in, Albert might have reached the seats.

I wish I could figure out how this team is so damn dumb. They stand around picking their asses on bunts, watch passed balls roll by and not move up a base...goodness.
