Completely forgot this was a day game.
Kudos to Motte for getting Garcia off the hook in the 7th. Let's see if they can hold on for 6 more outs.

Guess that answered that question.

Someone might want to point out to Tone that McClellan has pitched almost 50 more innings this season than he's ever thrown in the big leagues. Perhaps the reason he has sucked so bad lately is that there isn't much left in the gas tank.
Somone might also want to point out to Tone that RHs are hitting .306 against McClellan. Perhaps bringing him in to face RHs isn't a good idea.

Hilarious.
The team trades Rasmus to improve its bullpen from the left-hand side, but only puts Scrabble into the game when it's a mop-up situation. Three of the players that were thrust into bigger roles when Rasmus was traded (Jay, Patterson, Scrabble) can't even be trusted to play against a 54-70 team.

I didnt know it was a day game either. Oh well, looks like I didnt miss much. So much for gaining a game on the Brewers because they lost last night.

So... Motte continues to impress. Talk of trading him while his value is highest troubles me, only because good affordable bullpen help is hard to come by. Still, if he's going to go I'd rather it happen BEFORE TLR decides to start tearing him down publicly.
