... I was going to finish that sentence with "... will hit a grand slam in this game." I was. I swear.
The best part was Anderson's call. Completely flat line: "Westbrook ... and it's fair ..." then 30 seconds of silence.
Are Reggie Miller and Ryan Braun gay lovers?

.............and I thought you were going to finish with Westbrook will not make it out of the 4th inning . Silly me .

Yeah that standing ovation for what ended up being a pretty epic fail kinda threw me for a loop too.

So the Cardinals are 7.5 games back with a win tonight. Then the Cards play three at home against the Reds before hosting the Brewers for 3. Am I retarded for still holding out hope.

No, but they have to sweep Cincinnati this weekend. Counting on the Brewers to lose to Round Rock is a tall task.

Not at all. There are some tight sphincters in Wisconsin today.

Look out for the Hooks. They've won four in a row.

I lost my view of the standings sometime back, is Houston A, AA, or AAA now?
In baseball anything "can" happen. If Milwaukee hits a dead zone, we get hot?
One day at a time. Hopefully tomorrow we'll read about how Lucas Harrell shut down the Milwaukee bats in a spot start, while the next article outlines the Cardinals heating up and Carp shutting down Baker and Co.

It sucks that the Brewers are matched up against the Stros. For the Cardinals to gain anything they have to sweep the Reds and hope, by chance that the Stros can take a game. Grienke faces a guy who is making his first start of the year and has sucked in the 5 games he has pitched out of the pen. Carp is up against Cueto.

I havent really been watching much. I see Craig has seen some time in center..... How has he looked?

Uncomfortable, but he hasn't been a complete disaster. The only play I've seen him not make that a CF with more experience might have made was on Braun's would-be inside the park homer, but that was a tough chance in an unfamiliar ballpark.
Some guys find center easier because you get a more direct read of the ball off the bat.
