    If this game isn't a microcosm of the season...starting pitching coming up short, double plays, playing down to their competition. What a frustrating team.

    Yeah, Blass and the other guy were slobbering all over themselves about Doumit's approach. All he did was take a defensive swing and carve the ball into right field.

    The Pirates have been the worst team in baseball over the past six weeks. It's very Cardinals-like to not win a series against them.

    went to sports bar so I could watch Tom Brady light up Miami (this makes me sad) while watching the Cardinals WIN!!!... oh wait... damnit!

    This is one of those losses. There will probably be about 5-7 of them... We'll look back and point a finger at them and say, "If we win that game we're in the playoffs."
