Why the Patriots suck
From today's Boston Globe:
"FOXBOROUGH -- Tom Brady wants fans to be loud and well-hydrated on Sunday.
With the home opener approaching, the Patriots quarterback was asked if he had any message for the fans heading to Foxborough to see the Patriots-Chargers game.
"Yeah, start drinking early," Brady said with a snicker. "Get nice and rowdy. 4:15 game, lot of time to get lubed up. Come out here, and cheer for the home team."
The Patriots later clarified the "drinking early" remark on behalf of Brady, telling the assembled media, "He meant 'stay hydrated, drink a lot of water.'"
How seriously do you have to take yourself to feel the need to "clarify" an almost singular moment of levity from a member of the organization? And if the Patriots were so fired up about controlling the alcohol intake of their fans, they wouldn't sell beer at their stadium.
Fucking hypocrites. I hate hypocrites.

That's one of the dumber things I've read. I don't know what the weather is like in Massachusetts these days, but it must be awfully hot if they need to clarify that fans need to stay hydrated.

It's amazing that people are getting upset about what Brady said. He's a freakin' quarterback, people, not the chairman of the fed.
