Beaten up.
Talk about bad luck. Ryan Howard really did get injured as he ran to first base for the third and final out of the Phillies season.
Then look at the list of other injuries to be dealt with. Hamels, Polanco, and Pence all have been playing with hernias?!?

Howard was already on the decline and this injury isn't going to help matters. The Phillies are screwed completely on that deal.
They better hope Halladay/Hamels/Lee combine to start another 95 games next season because that lineup is going to get worse.

Oh Good, Howard is going to get slower and fatter. He will still manage to kill the Cardinals though.
