Re: NLCS 6th and deciding game

I have never seen anything like this. 15 may not be enough.

Re: NLCS 6th and deciding game

What a slugfest....  Craig pinch hitting in the 3rd...  Salas pitching the the 3rd...  Do the Cardinals have enough players.  I have a feeling Loshe should be ready to enter the game at some point tonight.

Wow. They better win tonight. 7 more innings (at least) from the bullpen.

Sort of, but . . .

I think they should play to win tonight

I think the will win tonight

And even if they don't and use all eight BP pitchers, they'll average slightly less than 1 IP each and should be ready to work tomorrow if need be.

Berkman needs to adjust the volume on his hearing aid.

Re: NLCS 6th and deciding game

A scoreless half inning. Maybe this game can settle into a little normalcy.

It should be fine.  The brewers are going to deal with the same issues.  If the Cards win tonight there is nothing to worry about.  They will have 2 off days and Carp throwing game one in St. Louis.  I am worried about the starting pitching though.  They have to get their heads screwed on straight.  The bullpen has been great but that well might run dry.

I hope so.  I am kind of bored with all the hitting.

Re: NLCS 6th and deciding game

Pujols is back to chasing at garbage, though he did somehow hit a giant home run on a pitch at his eyeballs. I know nothing.

Re: NLCS 6th and deciding game

Did Bentencourt really just do the "Beast Mode" thing down 4 runs?  Just when I start thinking this team doesn't bother me, someone does something does something really, really stupid.

That was huge.

Two hours in and we've just completed four innings.

He threw almost 50 pitches.   The Cards have to win tonight.  If they lose and TLR was to push the pen tomorrow it will be spent for game on ofthe WS if they woud win game7.  Oh and Loshe or Garcia would have to start.

I like it.  I am going to star doing it at random pointless spot throughout a normal day.  I always wanted to know what it was like to be a douchebag.

Re: NLCS 6th and deciding game

My husband & I have been sitting here trying to figure out the signals Yadi is giving!  There's so much movement we have no clue!  Then the Brewers catcher has white nail polish!

Mozeliak was willing to trade Rasmus because the Cardinal farm system is full of players ready make the big leagues . . . like Craig and Lynn?!?

At some point shouldn't Milwaukee become discouraged that we keep scoring everytime they try to mount a rally?

First to 25 wins.
