Re: World Series, Game 1

What are these stupid angles? Why did they show a close-up of the back of Cruz's helmet?

Re: World Series, Game 1

McCarver is an idiot. Mike Napoli didn't face Carpenter when he was with the Blue Jays. Napoli didn't even debut until 2006.

Re: World Series, Game 1

Molina has to be more patient than that.

Re: World Series, Game 1

I'm going to buy a Nissan truck.

Hopefully Carpenter is settled in.

And so the ROUT begins!

Re: World Series, Game 1

Freese drilled that. A little warmer and it's probably 4-0 right now.

Re: World Series, Game 1

WAIT.  Go back and explain how the DH changes things once more.  I'm not sure I wrapped my mind around it the first time.

Re: World Series, Game 1

This is pretty much as far as Carp got last time, and things turned out OK.

Re: World Series, Game 1

Look at Cruz's stance and is it any wonder that he feasts on inside fastballs???

Wow, Napoli crushed that.

Re: World Series, Game 1

So, we were using both infrared and thermal cameras this summer, and that looked like a mixed image.  The thermal camera makes warm spots light up, but only warm spots light up.  The outline image is from the IR camera.

Time to make them pay, Matt.

Re: World Series, Game 1

Dammit.  All of our success getting men on base leads to lots of double plays . . . I guess.

Re: World Series, Game 1

I'd have to look into it, but I don't recall Molina being a very good inside hitter.

These missed opportunities are starting to add up.

Re: World Series, Game 1

Good game, Carp. It's up to Craig and the bullpen now.

Re: World Series, Game 1

That second pitch was the one Craig wanted.
