Without a doubt, Tony LaRussa. "The Genius" has really managed well in this post-season. Nearly every call, matchup, etc he's moved on has worked solid gold. Again last night. Craig pinch hitting the winning run in. Running through 5 relivers, including a great matchup with Rhodes, and then .... Jesus has there ever been a better 2 batter performance then Scrabble? That was just fucking nails.
No matter who is stepping up against who in what situation, the one constant through all of this is that the mad scientist with the lineup card (that probably requires additional lines built in due to his overmanaging) has the magic touch right now.
11 in 11. Cards Magic Number(wins): 3

Dotel's?
I was more impressed with the two K's with runners on, althought Dotel had the tougher hitters.

Can I at least get 'the judges would have accepted either answer?'
What impressed me about Dotel was he was aggressive and threw five nasty pitches exactly where he wanted to. Well, at least four of them were nasty. I couldn't really tell about strike three to Andrus because Fox decided to go with a camera angle that mostly showed the plate umpire's arse. But Andrus looked suitably perplexed walking back to the dugout.

I'm just relieved this thread wasn't about what I feared after seeing the subject.
As an aside, does anyone else have the same pair of reactions when hit with the "60 seconds have to pass between posts" message?
First comes anger, followed by pride in being quicker than the boardhost guys thought a normal poster should be.

I haven't gotten around to the pride part yet.
A small inconvenience, however, to the virtual oasis this board is compared to the Yahoo board. The last time I checked, Modans was accusing some Brewers' fan of leaving gum in his underwear. Can't even begin to understand that reference.

You sure it was "gum", with a "g"?

The yahoo board is a playground for the terminally stupid. Not sure if you remember, but "gbrooks" is Cowboy. He posted under that handle a couple of times before AP started this board. Claimed it was his wife's account.

Thanks for checking, but it isn't any big deal. When the message pops up you don't lose what you were trying to post; you just have to wait a little bit and click it again.
