Did I see Mariano Rivera in our dugout wearing a Cardinals uniform?

Where the fuck is Molina going?
Good inning. To bad they ran out of it.

Damn Jay is the slowest guy who looks like he should be fast in all MBL.

They can't let him touch the mound again.I agree
Game 4 Jackson
Game 5 Carp
Game 6 Garcia
Game 7 Westbrook or Carp on short rest
Or win it in 5 or 6.
But if it came to it again, I'd start Lohse again, but have Westbrook ready to pitch the second time through the order.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this game doesn't end 8-6

molina was tapping the ground with his glove, and the pitch was at his eyes. i'd say lynn was having some location problems.

two men on and craig-pujols-holliday-berkman-freese coming. even if we're nervous the other team must feel horrible.

I got it.

That ball was up at the letters and 95 MPH. It takes some nuts to hit that thing like Pujols did.

Every inning I think the Cardinals have scored enough to win it and then something happens. Texas has to be a launching pad.

So here's the interesting question: We still need 12 outs. Any thoughts as to how we get them?

Some combo of Dotel, Scrabble and Motte

Jackson better plan on throwing 235 pitches tomorrow.

Lynn doesnt have it. I am suprised TLR isnt playing for today and already taken him out. I assume a lefty is coming in to face Hamilton.

Is it me or did a strike zone that started out rather large suddenly become about the size of a shoebox? Not saying the Cards are getting screwed. It has gotten small for both teams.

I remember several outside pitches getting called strikes early. Now you have to catch the zone. As you said it has been pretty fair.

I thought the same thing. La Russa isn't going all out to win. If he were he wouldn't have allowed either Loshe or Salas to fail as long as they did.
But I think he's thinking that we have three games in a row and needs to keep some bullets in the holster, and who's to say that's the wrong thing to do, they way our offense is hitting.

Beltre-Cruz-Napoli in the 7th. That table is set perfectly for Dotel.

Rain in 45 minutes? That should be the bottom of the 7th, I guess.

Boggs and Westbrook should be able to finish this.
Shouldn't they???

scratch that. with an 8-run lead send lynn back out.
