In between watching the World Series I have the Jags-Ravens on. First, ESPN couldn't have booked a more boring match-up. This is the equivalent of an interleague skirmish between the Pirates and Royals. The Ravens have been the most consistently boring team since they were the Browns and Jacksonville plays for a bunch of fans who jerk off to Tim Tebow.
That said, I don't know how anyone could complain about the sluggish pace of a baseball game then turn around and get off on a game where the strategy is run the halfback into the middle of the defense. What an enthralling game.
I could excuse this if the referees could decide what's a penalty after five minutes. I don't know how many times the referees just met to figure out what the penalty was and where the ball should be spotted.
To sum this up: the NFL is boring.

I think this will be the first game ever where a team has more punts than yards.

8:29 - A pass play for positive yards. Before that, both teams had combined for -8 yards.

Not watching tonight's game, but the Ravens have been anything but boring this year. Flacco's been throwing the ball a lot more, and Ray Rice is as exciting a player as is in the league. Jacksonville, on the other hand, sucks. But I wish Gabbert well.

Flacco hasn't thrown a touchdown since the first quarter of Week 3 against the Rams. Tonight he's been stripped, thrown a pass that got deflected, only for him to grab it right back, and scrambled around in the pocket to throw at the sideline.
I just find Ravens games completely unwatchable.

Flacco had over 300 yards and at least 1 TD last week. I have him in one of my fantasy leagues.

Did the Ravens really not pick up a first down in the first half?

That's correct. I guess they were just having trouble with that rowdy Jacksonville crowd that couldn't fill up the seats for a Monday night game.
Flacco started playing better on the second-to-last drive that produced the game's only touchdown, but for the most part he looked worse than Blaine Gabbert.

I don't know what's worse, an empty upper deck in Jacksonville, or ~60 percent of the crowd in Glendale wearing Steelers' jerseys.

I'm surprised the Jags fans weren't wearing Tebow jerseys.

"Jags fans"
You may have invented an oxymoron.
