Week 6 Gamecrap

Bertt Farve and his Ego are listed as questionable. Yeah, right. Like he's going to end the streak because he's got a sore elbow. Even if it costs the Vikings a win.

Farve taking lessons from Zamboner?  Brett, step away from the computer and quit sexting sideline chicks.

Rams up 17-0 on the Chargers with 1:39 left in the half.

Welcome to the NFL in 2010.

And the Stealers have played almost one entire half of football without Roethlisberger raping anyone.

Re: Week 6 Gamecrap

Rams have been trying to run the clock out since the second half started. Chargers are gonna win.

20-10 with four minutes left. No Nuts Shurmur still isn't calling anything beyond dive plays and five yard outs.

Re: Week 6 Gamecrap

Chargers scored in 40 seconds. Seventy-six yards in 40 freaking seconds.

Rams win. The Raiders are alive in the AFC West.

This SF/Oakland game is setting back the sport about 75 years. It's 6-3, but the score isn't indicative of good defense.

The Jets are playing like garbage. There are more people on Revis Island today than there are at Disney World.

Frank Gore got 150 yards rushing? Jesus.

Re: Week 6 Gamecrap

Up until about three hours ago, I couldn't have envisioned a scenario where Alex Smith isn't the worst QB on the field, but Jason Campbell made it happen today.
We should run a contest picking the worst team to make the playoffs from the AFC West or the NFC West to make the playoffs.
I'll go with the Chargers at 7-9.

He got half of it on one play.

Re: Week 6 Gamecrap

Needed about 9000 points to get back into my game, but thankfully Peyton Manning stepped up for me. I need Chris Johnson to outscore his kicker by 6 and I win I think.

nothing like Fantasy football sometimes.

That play was the difference in my 2-point win over Fors.

I'm more curious about the domestic violence aspect of this story. Did he really hit his wife, or did a couple of other people take her down and he just jumped on top of the pile?

A correction is in order. Seau was arrested for allegedly striking his 25-year-old live-in girlfriend.

I'm about to be fired by the other half (i.e., my 10 year old) of my franchise.  I talked him out of playing Steven Jackson in favor of Ahmad Bradshaw.  The 2.8 points would have been enough to win the week.  He wasn't particularly happy with my decision.  Never mind that he decided to play Malcolm Floyd instead of Greg Jennings (a move that cost us over 17 points).  It's all my fault.

"It's all my fault."

Of course it is. I urged my 10-year-old to accept a trade that got him Tulo in exchange for Jon Lester. Three days later, Tulo broke his arm. It didn't matter that he came back and hit 200 home runs in September. I cost him his league championship.

No kidding.  I am getting the short straw on this league.  I am 2nd in points scored.  My downfall is that the team facing me always do good.  I have allowed the 3rd most points in the league.  How can I play better defense on a fantasy league?

Re: Week 6 Gamecrap

I'd like to thank Chris Johnson for breaking off that 35 yard TD run late in the game. It gave me a 1.4 point victory.

Hopefully you explained to him that his team was better off without the stench of the Red Sox permeating the locker room.

Did you hear Tirico speculate how many fantasy games were decided by that play? I guess FF is not a verboten subject now that the NFL is sponsoring its own leagues. If Tirico had said that on the air 10 years ago, Tagliabue would have had him banished to covering high school tennis matches in Alaska.

Re: Week 6 Gamecrap

I read a blogger on yahoo bitching that CJ was still playing on the dead time. I would have agreed honestly, he had no business playing there. However, in the comments, no less than 4 people on the front page said, "It gave me a win in FFL"
