I don't know whether bringing in Feliz was the right move or not, and last night's performance makes it look like it would have been, but Washington should never have sent his starter back out to start the inning. No matter how shitty his bullpen is, and it looked about as bad as I've ever seen, it was clear that Wilson was gassed. He might not have won the race to first anyway. But watching him trying to cover first reminded me more of Roger Bannister's first four minute mile than anything else.
