Does anyone know when the presentment was issued? I can't seem to find a date.

I don't know what a presentment is, but, Holy Shit, what an interesting new angle the missing DA makes. Starting to sound all "Eyes Wide Shut".

A presentment is a grand jury statement or report. In this case, it's the really graphic report detailing all the acts.
A presentment is different from an indictment in that an indictment contains formal charges issued by the grand jury. A presentment contains recommendations with respect to charges which later be acted upon by the prosecuting attorney.

It appears it was issued last Friday, November 4.

OMG!!! Jerry Sandusky has an autobiography published that is still listed on Amazon. Check out the title. They have to pull this, don't they?

Subtle, but I suppose a better title than "Fucked in the Ass."

Think Vermeil regrets his choice of words?
The introduction to "Touched" is, oddly enough, written by former St. Louis Rams coach Dick Vermeil. Vermeil, who must be cringing now, attests to Sandusky's humanitarian efforts: "This book will be a special read for anyone who respects those people who are unselfish and who give a little piece of themselves to everyone with whom they come in contact."
Ugh.

"If it is what it seems to be, it's a great study of human priorities: ask any of those kids what they would do if they saw a random 60 year fucking a 10 year old boy in the ass, and I'll bet a 25% would say that guy wouldn't see another sunrise."
I'm reading the folks in Happy Valley are making out the asst. coach - McQuery or whatever his name is - who witnessed the assault in the shower to be a villain in all this.
Yeah, they are villafying him and flipping cars in the street. This is why I think if the board would not have fired Patarino this would have blown over as long as he kept playing stupid. A PR guy would have told him not to make the "I wish I would have done more" statement. It amazes we what celebritizm can protect you from.

the title is perfect. They just need to rewrite the book.

I dont understand why the college didnt just distance themslefs from him when he retirred. That would have been the perfect time to wash their hands.

To be clear, Sandusky isn't a pedophile. He just touches young boys while he showers with them.

Paterno has cancer.

You would have thought he would have learned from Michael Jackson. Those comments dont help.

That was a lucky coincidence, as people are far less likely to aggressively sue or prosecute a sick and dying man, whats more, a formerly beloved and honored sick and dying man.
It turns out he also turned over title of his house to his wife a few months back, another stroke of luck just in case a civil case were to involve damages.

It wouldn't matter Max. Jointly titled marital property is safe unless the judgment is against both spouses.

Honestly, I don't even have words to respond to this

"Some of these kids don't have basic hygiene skills," Rominger told the station. "Teaching a person to shower at the age of 12 or 14 sounds strange to some people, but people who work with troubled youth will tell you there are a lot of juvenile delinquents and people who are dependent who have to be taught basic life skills like how to put soap on their body."
Sick. Just sick. What kind of attorney would even see this as a defense?

"What kind of attorney would even see this as a defense?"
This kind:
"It has been a rough week for Sandusky's defense, as defense attorney Joseph Amendola essentially suggested that anyone who thinks Sandusky is a child molester should "dial 1-800-REALITY," which turned out to be a gay sex line."
The "lack of competent defense" appeal seems to be the goal here. And who could argue?
You know, all of this would be pretty funny, absent the anal rape of prepubescent boys. Which is sort of like saying Ishtar was a good movie, except for the acting.

And now we hear that McGloin got coldcocked in the shower.

It sounds like Sandusky is getting what he has got coming in this trial. I have not heard a single thing that sounded even slightly good for the defense.

I haven't followed this thing that closely, but this bastard has a lot more coming than he's ever going to get. What an absolutely disgusting sack of shit. I know it won't happen, but here's hoping he gets assigned permanently to general population. There are plenty of guys who will be more than happy to play Tickle in the Shower with him.

Yeah it is sick. The only thing that I have seen positive from the defenses stand point is that some of the kids stayed in contact with him after the abuse had stopped and into early adulthood. I highly doubt that is going to be enough to keep him out of prison. Several of the stories I read stated that people in the courtroom were crying. To me that says the victims stories came acrossed as heartfelt and true. He will die in prison. At least this all came to light and this is how he will be remembered.

I've actually had to stop reading the testimony. I heard enough to get some telling of what a few of the 52 counts of pedo-sodomy were involving. I can't read anymore.... I just want to hear whether he's guilty or innocent, and if guilty, he deserves to die.
Can we just send him to China? They seem to have a great understanding for justice in some senses (no offense Fors, I know everyone is due their day in court, but we have too much nonsense and appeals in ours. All in the name of Freedom, but it shouldn't take 11 years to carry out a death sentence.)
Chinese Serial Killer - Yang Xinhai
Arrested: November 3, 2003
Verdict: February 1, 2004
Execution: February 14, 2004 (by shooting)
Efficiency, both on victims getting justice, and tax money.

You're not going to offend me Alz. Dont forget, I used to be a cop. I'm all for swift justice.

Yeah, let's emulate the Chinese.
I'm consistently amazed at the hypocrisy of Americans who bray like wounded animals whenever they believe their freedom is being infringed by the government, but think it's OK for the government to use the Bill of Rights as toilet paper the split second someone comes along and offends their own moral code.
