They've played well since the coaching change, but I like Hitchcock's response to it--we'll see how good we are when we have to perform on the road.
Still, they've been fun to watch. The kids and I were at Saturday's game against Tampa, and we're going again tomorrow night.

Been watching a lot of Bruins lately. I haven't seen a line that's been playing better than Marchand/Bergeron/Seguin in awhile.

Just pointing out (and don't get me wrong there is A LOT of traffic at the top!), that the best team in hockey is Pittsburgh with 32 points in 25 games.
The Blues have 30 points in 24 games. This is good enough for 4th presently in the West. However the traffic jam!
East (*-Division Leader, Games/Points)
1. * Pittsburgh 25/32
2. * Florida 24/30
3. * Toronto 24/30
4. NY Rangers 21/29
5. Boston 22/29
6. Philadelphia 23/29
West
1. * Minnesota 24/31
2. * Chicago 25/31
3. * Phoenix 23/29
4. St. Louis 24/30
5. Detroit 22/29
6. Vancouver 24/29
7. Dallas 24/29
They obviously aren't pulling away from the rest of the league, but it's SO COOL to see them this high in the standings!

To quote the famous Brittany Spears. "Oops, we did it again!"
Go Blues!

I was at the Chicago game. Man did they look bad and the number of Blackhawks fans that scored tickets was embarassing. Last night was much better.

I was at last night's game. They looked great.
I'm not sure what night it airs, but the Rangers are featured in HBO's 24/7 special leading up to the Winter Classic. I would expect the next airing to include this game against the Blues.

Is there anything better than hearing the Flyers booed by their own crowd?

Hey now. The Flyers are my one of my "base teams" in our fantasy hockey league.
I had a feeling that game was going to go poorly. I didn't play Bryzgalov this week, despite the 7 game winning streak. That was my good move. My bad one was sitting Jason Spezza who posted 4 points last night. Oops.

Even with the way the Bruins are playing, I didn't expect a 6-0 blowout. I think all four lines scored today. This run they've been on for the past six weeks has been pretty amazing.
