I would think he would be prefered over Pujols.  I could also see Fielder buying into the idea of being "the man" in Chicago more so then Pujols.  He will hit 60hr a year in that park.

I think he became a vegetarian to lose weight.  It hasnt worked but him becoming a vegetarian was pretty big news.

There's not a lot that I think I could be competent enough to handle in MLB, but first base coach is one of them.

You also have to know how to operate a stopwatch in order to time the pitcher's move. So it's not like you can just put a trained orangutan over there.

Matheny hasn't been assigned a number yet? I wonder if they'll give him his old #22, his older #44, or they'll retire the latter for Corey Patterson.

Actually , I was wondering the selection process Matheny will use to get his uniform number......... (wink)
