It's not long since the time Sonnanstine was a hot commodity. Surprising to see his ERA is above 5. Still, Epstein would know him as well as anyone.

I was surprised how infrequently he's pitched in the past two years. And I thought Manny Corpas was in the witness protection program. Was it Corpas or Fuentes from Colorado some of us were so hot and bothered about a couple of years ago when the Cardinals needed a closer?

Hold on fella. Without Jackson, the only suspenseful aspect of the 2011 season would be how many women in the state of Wisconsin would have tested positive for herpes after Milwaukee won the NL pennant.

I think it's funny that Cubs fans spent the first part of the offseason crowing about how they were about to watch Chicago run over everyone. Epstein has laid extremely low and they completely support that. Weird.
