Fiesta Bowl

This looks like it could be a decent game ... wow, what a throw by Luck!

Re: Fiesta Bowl

Justin Blackmon would look great in a Rams uniform.

Re: Fiesta Bowl

What the hell happened? I switched to the end of a Bounceyball game (I know, I know) and now it's 14-14.

Think he'll go that high?

Helmet hair has him ranked around #4 or 5 on his board. The Rams desperately need a top receiver.  There's no point in paying Sam Bradford $80M to throw guys who can't get open or run correct routes. Their best receiver this year was Brandon Lloyd who has already said he wants to play wherever Josh McDaniels coaches and it's far from certain that's going to be in St. Louis. After scoring the fewest points in the league, they need an offensive weapon.

I'd love for them to be able to trade down and still get Blackmon, but when you look at the teams drafting after the Rams, they all could use a receiver. Trading down and stockpiling picks makes sense, but I'm not sure there's a better WR weapon available.

Considering how his NFL effort went, McDaniels' next coaching gig could be for a girls field hockey team. I hope Lloyd won't mind wearing a skirt.

The one position where the Raiders are set. I wonder if that douchebag Todd McShay is going to issue an apology to Heyward-Bey for saying he couldn't play. DHB had a better year than Crabtree, and DHB isn't a jerk.

Re: Fiesta Bowl

I read somewhere that McDaniels was the only assistant the Rams didn't fire--yet. Bradford has been fairly vocal in his support. He could survive, although it will be interesting to see if he remains OC or if he gets demoted to QB coach.

I wasn't aware he landed in St. Louis. At least that explains why the Rams were dead last in the league in points.

Yes, he was the Rams big off-season signing. Rumor was he was the genius behind the Rams using a 2nd round pick on a tight end who can't block and who had more drops than catches, and 3rd and 4th round picks on receievers who weren't any better than what they already had.

Re: Fiesta Bowl

You have the best QB in college football, you've been running the ball at will all game, and you let the game be decided by a redshirt freshman kicker?

I hope no one feels badly for the kicker. If he hadn't studied so hard in high school, he could have gone to Arizona State, and then he wouldn't have had to worry about kicking a field goal in a big football game.
Damn overachiever. Serves him right.
