Burfict leaves ASU the year the Raiders can't draft him because they don't have a first round pick, and he's projected to end up with another team in the division? Three bars on the slot machine!
"Arizona St. Sun Devils linebacker Vontaze Burfict announced Tuesday that he will skip his senior season and make himself eligible for the NFL draft.
Burfict had 69 total tackles, 40 solo tackles, five sacks and one interception for the Sun Devils in 2011. In the previous season he garnered 89 tackles.
Burfict has offset a career full of flashes of aggressive and athletic play with moments of immaturity and poor decision-making. However, his talent and ability still makes him one of the most gifted linebacker prospects in the nation.
The preseason All-American candidate was tapped in the most recent 2012 NFL Mock Draft from Todd McShay as a first round pick. McShay currently has Burfict going to the San Diego Chargers with the 22nd overall pick in the draft."

Dolphins pick 9th, hoping either Landry Jones or RG3 is still there (I'm hoping for RG3 personally).
Ducks won the Rose Bowl, putting up 621 yards/45 points on the 8th ranked ypg/6th ranked Points allowed Wisconsin team.
Two running backs went for over 150 yards. D. Thomas accomplished this on 2 carries. That makes me laugh.
Ah well, but for that USC loss, we might have had a sniff at the title game, but it was not to be!

Sorry Alz, Jones headed back to Oklahoma for his senior season.

Is he? That's interesting. I knew Barkley was returning from USC, but didn't know about Jones.

Yeah, he just announced yesterday.

Well shit, that's bad news. Luck will certainly go #1, Blackmon is almost a lock to go #2 to the Rams. The Redskins are in line for a QB, and that probably means RG3 goes off the board with pick #6. Miami could hope to trade up with Tampa (Mock draft has them picking Claiborne, CB, LSU) at #5, but that will likely cost us a 2nd round pick as well.
Bummer, when we could have been okay with the number 9 pick getting a QB. Latest projection has them taking Quinton Couples (DE, UNC) at #9, and while I would love a defensive lineman, we need a QB for the future. Moore did well, but I can't say I'm ready to put the future on his shoulders.
