Conference Championships

First BS call is for illegal contact when Wes Welker basically ran into Webb's arm.

I hate Joe Flacco, too, but it'd be nice to see this called cleanly.

Re: Conference Championships

What, no "illegal obstruction of the receivers eyesight" on Lewis?

Re: Conference Championships

That looked an awful lot like an illegal interception on Baltimore. Should be a 15-yard penalty.

Re: Conference Championships

How the hell does Cuntface miss a 35 yard FG?

Re: Conference Championships

How the hell does Evans not catch that pass in the end zone?

No matter who wins in the NFC, the two weeks are going to suck having to listen to all these crackpots talk about a "dynasty" again.

He has to spend the offseason thinking about dropping the ball that would have landed him in the SB.  I wasnt that mad at the time because I figured the game was going into OT.

Re: Conference Championships

That was awesome compared to Steven Tyler.

I had to change the channel after Cundiff missed the kick. Did he start yodeling during the trophy ceremony or something?

Re: Conference Championships

I was just comparing National Anthems.  Tyler butchered it.

Re: Conference Championships

I'm not necessarily rooting for the Giants, but if SF wins this game, just give the trophy to NE. How does a QB get his team to the NFC title game and go 3 of 10 midway thru the 3rd quarter?

Re: Conference Championships

I got to root for the 49ers.  I simply wouldnt care about a Patriots vs Gaints rematch.  The first time was half ass fun because the Gaints played spoiler.  This time I wouldnt even watch.  The 49ers might not have much of a chance but at least I would have a rooting interest for the first quarter.

It's so unlike him to bring attention to himself.

He relies on a really, really good defense?

Either of these two teams has a chance against New England.

Re: Conference Championships

The officials are doing a better job of keeping the 49ers in this game than Alex Smith is.

Re: Conference Championships

Smith looked totally indecisive on that last drive (when the got a FG). He was looking to run almost as soon as he realized his first read was covered. Looks like a guy trying desperately not to lose the game.

Either the SF defense makes a huge play or the Giants win this.

But he sung in a time when only the cream of the crop provided music for teenagers.  His voice is magic.

Re: Conference Championships

Not to get off subject but the Patriots pulled some bullshit with that Josh McDainels signing.

I am counting on the Gaints finding a way to lose it.

Re: Conference Championships

Sadly it appears more likely that someone is going to make a mistake lose the game rather than making a play to win it.

Especially if it continues to rain like it is.

Re: Conference Championships

49ers shouldnt have punted it.  The Gaints have to gain 30 yards to win this thing.

Re: Conference Championships

Giants get the tying field goal after the ball glanced off Williams' knee, and then Williams fumbles a punt in OT. Safe to say that kid's having a long off-season.
